The Church of Saint George, built by the Romans in the 4th century AD, will be used as an art gallery after the restoration completed by the Metropolitan Municipality. The 1600-year-old church, which was restored by the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality's Department of Reconstruction and Urbanization, was previously used as an art gallery. The other name of the church, which was also used as a madrasah during the Artuqid period, is Hızır İlyas Church. Spot lights were used to make the church look aesthetic at night.
