Members of the Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club of Istanbul Gelisim University offered the products of the Koruncuk Foundation for sale at the stand they opened in the Vocational School campus as the first step within the scope of their projects, and collected income for the benefit of the Koruncuk Foundation.
As the second step of their project, Istanbul Gelişim University Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club students visited Bolluca Children's Village to ensure that children within the foundation had a pleasant day and organized activities for children to have fun. The students did not leave their little friends alone by participating in the show performed by the children in Bolluca Children's Village.
Before the implementation of the project, research and survey studies were conducted on Psychological Abuse of Children conducted by the members of Istanbul Gelişim University Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club. These studies; Under the leadership of Istanbul Gelişim University Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club Consultant academician Assist. Prof. Emel Tozlu and Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School Head of Marketing and Advertising Department Lect. Fulya Beteş, students; It was presented by Selda Güdelek, Esra Varol, Çiğdem Özgül, Funda Şen, Sultan Kaya, Fuat Oğuz, Kaan Öztemir and Kübra Yiğit.
As a result of the survey conducted on a group of 100 students during the research phase of the project, 36% of the participants have the opinion that there is a connection between the level of economic income and the tendency to apply psychological violence. On the other hand, 65% stated that they do not find awareness-raising activities on violence against children sufficient in Turkey.
Psychologist Görkem Demirdöğer Güller and Koruncuk Foundation Project Coordinator Serkan Çıtlak participated in the seminar held at Istanbul Gelişim University Vocational School at the last stage of the project. ÇITLAK finished his speech by saying, "I would like to thank Istanbul Gelisim University for carrying out such a beautiful project, especially our teachers, and all the students who contributed to this project."
Istanbul Gelisim University Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club Consultant Assist. Prof. Emel Tozlu said, “As educators, we attach great importance to producing social responsibility projects for children with the constant support of our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Abdulkadir Gayretli. We hope that we will have the chance to see Koruncuk children as students in our institution in the coming years.” Lect. Fırat Demirkol, Deputy Director of Istanbul Gelişim University Vocational School, said, “As an institution, we always stand by the Koruncuk Foundation Family. We are now a part of your family and we are always ready to give all the support we can.” The event ended after Serkan Çıtlak and Görkem Demirdöğer Güller were presented with plaques by Lect. Fırat Demirkol and thanked them.
