Sustainability communication is communication processes carried out to manage relations between stakeholders to create awareness, awareness, and behavior change on sustainability issues. It has an important role in ensuring that businesses, governments, or non-governmental organizations carry out their activities in harmony with nature and society in processes such as production, consumption, and management. Sustainability communication; It is an important tool in providing information transfer and raising awareness on natural issues such as protecting natural resources and the environment, combating climate change, and social issues such as social equality, human rights, and justice. The communication processes that resource enterprises, governments, and non-governmental organizations perform while making sustainable efforts in their relations with their stakeholders are expressed with the concept of sustainability communication. For sustainable efforts to be effective, stakeholders are contacted.
These communication processes can be carried out through different communication channels. In addition to tools such as newspapers, radio, television, and magazines, which are described as traditional media tools; sustainable communication can also be made in digital environments (social media, web pages, etc.). In sustainability communication; the source business, government, or non-governmental organization announces information and developments about sustainability, informs stakeholders, and ensures their participation. Stakeholders also have a say in making decisions regarding sustainability; they can convey their feelings and thoughts. Thus, sustainable activities are carried out for a sustainable world by the wishes, expectations, and needs of the stakeholders. In this context, it contributes to the creation of positive changes in society.
