Istanbul Gelişim University 2023-2024 Academic Year Orientation was held between 25-28 September 2023. Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School Orientation Program was held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, between 14:00 and 15:30 at Kule Campus Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall. Our young people who stepped into university life at our Vocational School participated intensively in the orientation program. The Orientation Program started with the opening speech of Assoc. Prof. Lokman Kantar, Director of Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School. Kantar gave information to our students about our vocational school. He emphasized that Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School is a big family with several registered students 10 thousand 630 and several graduating students 15 thousand 207. He added that there are 37 programs in our vocational school and there are a total of 178 faculty members, 162 of whom are full-time and 16 of whom are paid lesson hours. Kantar also touched upon the achievements of the students and academic staff of the vocational school, and after his speech, the program head invited our professors to the stage.
The program continues with the introduction of our program head professors; It ended after the speeches of our successful students and the transfers of our students on topics such as DMP and UMP, Erasmus +, and Student Clubs. In the program, our new students and program instructors came together at the fair area before the classes.
