The "International Strategic Communication Summit", which was held for the first time last year by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Directorate of Communications, Department of Strategic Communication and Crisis Management, was held on 2-3 December 2022 with the theme of "Stratcom in the Age of Uncertainly".
Stratcom, where global developments and trends that shape strategic communication are discussed; it is an international platform that brings together representatives from various countries and sectors. There are fields of study for many subjects such as digital diplomacy, journalism, metaverse, data analysis, algorithms, new media, disinformation, media planning, crisis management, public opinion polls, political communication, social media, memorable marketing, video platforms, nation branding, government communication.
At the summit where negotiations will be held in terms of developing policies for the major crises faced by both states and citizens in the age of uncertainty, coordination and governance of related activities; various topics such as strategic communication, crisis communication, government communication, migration communication, leadership, professionalism, and new media were examined. In the event, which aims to be a leading center and platform for the needs of strategic communication in the international arena, representatives of leading institutions in the fields such as public, private sector, civil society, media and academia from Turkey and abroad came together within the scope of the event. Inter-institutional interaction and mutual experience were shared.
