DALL-E is an artificial intelligence-assisted design program. It is an artificial neural network that creates a new design with commands given over text. DALL-E, made available by OpenAI, offers users unique designs that do not exist on the internet in different variations, with commands given by users in text form.
The naming of the program DALL-E is essentially a combination of two elements: Salvador Dali and Pixar's WALL-E character. WALL-E is a 2008 3D animated movie character made by Pixar Animation Studios. Built to clean the planet, WALL-E is a lonely robot. Inspired by this robot and the famous painter Salvador Dali, the program was named DALL-E.
DALL-E is used to create images from written texts in line with GPT-3 technology, in which artificial intelligence learning is used. It designs unique designs that are not found anywhere when searched in the browser, just like human intelligence. When the relevant web page is entered from the internet browser, a user registration can be created and access to the design service can be provided. Even if any design composition command based on imagination such as "a pear with a blue hat and a green sweater" is given to the text bar in the program, different sample designs are created for this command. In addition, it is possible to create various designs by taking into account fine design details such as season, light, and time. In other words, when a command is given such as "Woman walking hand in hand on a summer day with a girl in the evening, by the seaside", DALL-E can create designs suitable for the summer season, time of day, and light angle.
