8 March “Let's Be Equal Every Day, Not One Day” Social Responsibility Project

A football awareness match and a gender equality themed psychodrama event were held within the scope of the social responsibility project, which the students of Istanbul Gelişim University, Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club set out with the slogan "LET'S BE EQUAL EVERY DAY, NOT ONE DAY".

Students of Istanbul Gelişim University, Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club formed two different football teams consisting of young female students to draw attention to the issue of gender equality within the scope of 8 March International Women's Day. While the young female students played football, the male students supported their friends with their banners and cheers.

The students participated in the event to draw attention to gender inequality by wearing purple clothes, which are the symbol of genderlessness.

As the second pillar of the awareness project "Let's Be Equal Every Day, Not One Day", a psychodrama event was held by Psychodramist Odise Vuçinas, a lecturer, in order to draw attention to social roles and gender perceptions that society imposes on us.

During the research phase of the project, the data obtained as a result of the surveys conducted on a group of 100 students were shared with Psychodramist Odise Vuçinas. All research was conducted under the leadership of Istanbul Gelişim University, Head of Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club Counselor Assist. Prof. Emel TOZLU and Lect.
