 World Day Against Child Labor

World Day Against Child Labor is celebrated on 12 June with the theme of "Universal Social Protection to Eliminate Child Labour" determined by the ILO (International Labor Organization).

World Day Against Child Labour will be celebrated shortly after the 5th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labor is held in May. According to the data announced before the Kovid 19 pandemic, only 46.9 percent of the entire world population had at least one social protection, while the other 53.1 percent, that is, 4.1 billion people, did not have any social protection. When it comes to children, this rate remains lower. About three quarters of the world's children, that is 1.5 billion children, do not benefit from any social protection.
