 Ventilation in Indoor Environments

If the percentage of oxygen in the air in a workplace falls below the critical limit of 19.5 percent, various health problems arise.

Although toxic air formation is not possible in office environments due to the process, when the oxygen ratio in the air falls below the critical limit, fatigue and poor performance will be observed in the employees. In production areas where various chemicals are present in the ambient air in the form of gas, steam or dust, those working with high temperatures are more affected. Insufficient capacity in central ventilation and air conditioning systems will disperse the pollutants in the air to the entire environment by re-using the ambient air by conditioning. In places where ventilation capacities are insufficient, support should be provided by using capacity increase or exhaust fans. In addition, PPE (personal protective equipment) should be used and various methods should be developed against air pollutants in the environment.
