Support Given to Underground Mining Workplaces Reached 17 Million TL
Grant support given to underground mining workplaces receiving Occupational Health and Safety Services within the scope of MİSGEP Financial Support and Guidance Program reached 17 million TL.
In order to strengthen the implementation of occupational health and safety services, 80 workplaces that are beneficiaries of the MİSGEP Program are given 24-month grants and technical guidance support. The total grant support given to workplaces that are beneficiaries within the scope of the project has reached 17 million TL. Relevant businesses will be able to benefit from support payments until April 2023.
MİSGEP Project
The Project for Improving Occupational Health and Safety in Mining (MISGEP) aims to create a better working environment by improving working conditions in the mining industry, creating social awareness and increasing the knowledge level of all stakeholders on the subject.
Support is provided for the integration studies of the "TS 13741:2017 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Mining Industry for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME)" standard in 15 workplaces that meet the criteria specified in the workplaces within the scope of the project. The said support was started in October and a grant support of 375,000 TL was provided in the relevant month.
In addition to financial support, technical guidance services continue to be provided. The Ministry of Labor and Social Security conducts field visits to workplaces and conducts guidance activities.
