The students of Occupational Health and Safety Program visited the Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is in the extra hazard group and has a water treatment capacity of approximately 400000 m3 per day and which treats wastewater of the population of 2.5 million. The students listened the basic occupational safety training, content, occupational safety practices from A Class Occupational Safety Specialist Eyüp Yılmaz, and the students' questions about the field were answered. Work areas where Chemical Gases are, one of the main hazards, were visited and personal protective equipment used by employees were examined.
It was completed as a productive field trip on active and dominant occupational safety measures at a workplace in extra hazard group for our students who are prospective Occupational Safety Specialists.
