Project for Improving Occupational Health and Safety in Mining
Within the scope of MİSGEP (Improving Occupational Health and Safety in the Mining Sector Project), financial support and guidance program activities continue in underground mining enterprises.
In the project carried out jointly by the Republic of Turkey and the European Union, a financial support and guidance program with a budget of 7.6 million euros is carried out. Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to assign OHS professionals in underground mining enterprises producing coal or metal ore, to provide financial support for OHS management system integration and rescue training, and to find solutions to important problems in the sector by bringing preventive approaches in the field of OHS in these workplaces.
