Occupational Safety Statement from the Ministry about the 'Girl in the Glass' Series
The Ministry of Labor and Social Security made a written statement on the distorting statements used in the TV series 'Girl on the Glass' on Kanal D, regarding the responsibilities of employers against work accidents.
In the written statement of the Ministry, it was stated that according to the scenario in the 28th episode of the TV series, the incident that resulted in the employee falling from the scaffold and losing his life due to negligence in the workplace was fictionalized. Referring to the obligations of employers arising from the Law No. 6331, it was stated that receiving services from specialist institutions and organizations outside the workplace would not remove the employer's responsibilities. It was also stated that the employer is responsible for taking and implementing the measures recommended by the OHS professionals in the workplace.
