Workshop on Occupational Diseases and Measures to be Taken in the Natural Stone Industry was held in the project carried out by Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Project of Improving Occupational Health and Safety in the Marble Industry is supported by the European Union.
Many trainings and seminars on occupational health and safety in the marble sector were held in the project, which was held in Afyon, where the number of marble quarries is high. In the workshop, sessions were held on the main topics of occupational diseases, personal protective equipment and training of employees. In addition, the problems encountered in the sector and solution proposals were emphasized.
