Within the scope of the Improvement of Occupational Health and Safety in the Mining Sector (MISGEP) project, 5.3 million TL financial grant support was given to mining enterprises. In the statement made by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, it was announced that the underground mining companies, which are the beneficiaries of the project, benefited from these supports.
Payments made in return for the occupational health and safety services received within the scope of the relevant project are provided on the condition that employers pay for the employment of occupational health and safety specialists, workplace physicians and other OHS expenses. Within the scope of the project, it was announced that the costs arising from the employment of occupational health and safety professionals in 56 of 80 enterprises were fully covered.
