Dr. Ömer Selçuk Öçmen stated that in prosthesis surgeries performed using the classical method, the prosthesis size is taken with the help of a mechanical instrument and this measurement sometimes does not hold exactly. In such a case, a change in the length of the prosthesis had to be made and the appropriate size had to be found. In the robot technology currently used, the system measures the required prosthesis and gives the surgeon the prosthesis size. The system says, "It is appropriate to use the following prosthesis for the patient."
