Honda, which closed its factory in Gebze in September 2020, sold its facilities to HABAŞ. It was thought that HABAŞ, which has been known in the sector for nearly 70 years as a distributor of medical-industrial gas, electricity, steel, cylinder and heavy machinery sectors, as well as LNG/CNG type natural gases and LPG, would organize the facilities according to their own needs. However, it was learned that the plan of HABAŞ was to produce domestic cars. The company is expected to announce its upcoming calendar.
