"Exercise is a medicine"
Stating that the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommend a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate or vigorous physical activity per week for the promotion and development of health, Physiotherapist Çağıl Ertürk said that exercise is seen as a non-pharmacological treatment in the international community. Ertürk said, "Exercise is a medicine".
