Deep technology entrepreneurship is the counterpart of the advances of basic science and innovation in new technological paradigms. Initiatives that have an advanced technology base and reveal new solutions take place in this field. The concept was coined in 2014 by Swati Chaturvedi, the founder and CEO of the online investment platform Propel(x). It aims at scientific or technological advances. Deep technology; refers to new companies based on engineering, high-tech innovation and scientific innovations as a business model.
