Work continues on the National Warship MİLGEM Project

MİLGEM, Turkey's first domestic and national warship project, has reached the delivery phase of PNS KHAIBAR, which was exported to Pakistan and is the third of MİLGEM. After the delivery of the first 2 ships of the 4-ship agreement, the third ship is also delivered.
In the project in question, PNS BABUR was delivered and launched in August last year for the first time. The second ship, PNS BADR, was delivered in May. The third ship of the 4-ship project, PNS KHAIBAR, has reached the delivery stage. Work continues with the MİLGEM project for national warships, which are 100% domestically designed.

The third ship of the project, PNS KHAIBAR, is designed with a length of 108.2 meters and a width of 14.8 meters. The warship, which was produced with a capacity of 142 personnel, has a weight of 2 thousand 985 tons. PNS KHAIBAR also has a 10-ton helicopter platform with a close air defense system. The targeted landing date of PNS TARIQ, the last of the 4 ships in the agreement, has been determined as May 2023. 4. The construction of the ship continues at Karachi Shipyard Command.
