Within the scope of the project carried out by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the ship traffic in the straits will be managed by the 'Turkish Straits Ship Traffic Services System'.
The project, in which it will be possible to control and manage all ship traffic movements in the Straits, is planned to be commissioned at the end of the year. The 'Turkish Straits Ship Traffic Services System' is being developed under the main contractor of HAVELSAN.
