Among the top 20 ports in the ranking of the world's largest ports, six are located in Europe, three in America and one in Oceania.
According to the Xinhau-Baltic Report, 43 cities are evaluated according to various criteria within a certain period of time, and the first 20 shipping and trade center cities, called ICS20, are announced. The "Xinhua-Baltic International Shipping Center Development Index" has become an important index in shipping center comparisons. In the ranking announced for the year 2022; Singapore, London, Shanghai, Hamburg, New York-New Jersey, Athens-Pire, Ningbo Zhoushan, Tokyo, Houston, Guangzhou, Antwerp-Bruges, Qingdao, Busan, Shenzhen, Copenhagen, Los Angeles and Melbourne make up the top 20 cities.
