Making a Temporary Storage Space
Appropriate port operators were provided with opportunities in ports where temporary storage areas are needed economically. Due to the inadequacy of the existing criteria for opening a temporary storage location, new criteria were determined.
Warehouse records kept by the operating companies of existing temporary ports and stock records were aligned. Penal action has been taken in case the records are not updated by the operating companies that keep the temporary warehouse inventory records.
Changes Regarding Warehouses
Due to the fact that the paid-in capital amounts of joint stock and limited companies, which were taken as a basis in the evaluation while granting investment permits to warehouses, were very low compared to the current economic conditions, the paid-in capital amounts were rearranged and made suitable for today's economic conditions.
The opportunity to employ interns has been introduced by authorized customs consultants. It is stated by the regulation that the working hours of the interns will be counted among the internship periods specified in the law. Some articles related to the said Regulation amendment will enter into force on the date of publication, and some articles will enter into force 60 days later.
