A new agreement was signed between Russia and Turkey to overcome the logistics crisis and to increase trade between the two countries.
According to the agreement, infrastructure works are accelerated in the port of Novorossisk. Sochi and Kavkaz ports are also included in the planning for the upcoming period. Due to the intensity of road transport at the Kapıkule, Hamzabeyli and Sarp border gates, it is planned to shift the transportation to maritime transportation. While the regional economies and trade were adversely affected due to the war between Russia and Ukraine, the reconciliation between Russia and Turkey is important in order to overcome the logistics crisis.
