3 major non-governmental organizations of the Turkish logistics industry cooperated for joint studies.
International Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers Association, Turkish Port Operators Association and Railway Transporters Association signed a cooperation protocol among themselves. A protocol was signed within the scope of cooperation on January 12, 2023, with the participation of the presidents of 3 associations and members of the board of directors at the TÜRKLİM office.
A step has been taken in order to produce solutions to the problems of the logistics sector with a common understanding and to contribute to the development of the sector. Within the scope of the signed protocol, it was decided to carry out joint work on other issues, especially logistics and transportation, which will be agreed and approved by the parties.
Collaborative and cooperation topics are as follows;
Activities to be carried out in terms of the development of the sector - Establishment of joint working committees,
Information exchange - Taking care to share information with each other in activities planned in line with mutual benefits,
Introducing business contacts - Inviting them to promotional and information events, developing a culture of cooperation and collaboration for the benefit of members,
Cooperation with joint projects - Cooperation on projects and grant opportunities supported by other institutions and organizations, especially the World Bank and the EU,
Conference and event participation - Supporting each other in participation, announcing on social media accounts,
Joint representation - Discussion of common problems, joint representation in other institutions and organizations.
