The sea customs gate to be established in Edirne's Enez district is expected to activate international trade and tourism. The town of Enez is located across the Greek island of Samothrace. In the project, which started in 2020, permissions were obtained from 11 ministries and the permission procedures were completed within 1 year. It consists of 2 separate projects as infrastructure and superstructure. Enez Deniz Customs Gate is expected to open in 2022.
