It has been announced that Mersin International Port Management (MIP) has switched to the "Controlled Door Entry System" to use the capacity at the highest level after the earthquake disasters in Mersin Port, which affected 11 provinces in our country, after the earthquake disasters in Kahramanmaraş.

In the announcement made on the official website of Mersin International Port Management, it was stated that the measures taken after the earthquake disasters covering 11 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş aimed to ensure the continuity of trade in the region and the country. In addition, it was stated that the fields and quay capacities connected to Mersin Port were put into use at the highest level, and it was emphasized that services continue to be provided in the existing outer fields, fields whose applications have been completed, and additional outer fields whose applications have been submitted but whose process has not been completed yet.
The other measures announced in the announcement, which include all additional measures taken by Mersin International Port Management, are as follows: It has been stated that the controlled door entry system has been switched according to the priority of the ship for the door entrances full of exports. It has been reported that all measures have been put into use immediately with the 'Controlled Door Entry System' implemented as of February 23, 2023. It has been announced that the information on which ships are open for door entry will be updated every day at 11:00 am on the quay plan tab of the Mersin International Port Management website, and it will not be possible to enter the full container door for the ships whose door entry status is not open. It was stated in the said announcement that the door entrances of the refrigerated and IMDG-filled containers will continue in their normal course.
