  Captain Dr. Ramazan Açıkgöz Takes Office at IGU


A graduate of Istanbul Technical University, Maritime Faculty, Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering Department, Captain Dr. Ramazan Açıkgöz started to work in the Maritime and Port Management Program at Istanbul Gelişim University, Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School.


A graduate of Istanbul Technical University, Maritime Faculty, Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering Department, Captain Dr. Ramazan Açıkgöz started to work in the Maritime and Port Management Program at Istanbul Gelişim University, Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School.
Altaş Ambarlı Port Facilities Inc. It is located in an important position within the company and is located in a geography close to where the important port operations of our country such as Akçansa, Kumport, Marport and Mardaş are located.
Considering the importance that Istanbul Gelişim University gives to maritime and the important developments in the sector due to its location, it is considered that it will support the efforts to highlight our country, which has made important breakthroughs in the field of maritime.
As part of the breakthroughs made, Istanbul Gelişim University, Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School, Transportation Services Department, Maritime and Port Management Program, Istanbul Technical University, Maritime Faculty, Maritime Transportation Management Engineering graduate,  Captain Dr. Ramazan Açıkgöz took office.
Captain Dr. Ramazan Açıkgöz has a doctoral thesis on Occupational Health and Safety on Turkish Fishing Vessels, and a master's thesis on the model of Turkey's fulfillment of its obligations as a Flag and Port State and ensuring its effectiveness.
Also, Captain Dr. Ramazan Açıkgöz has many years of industry experience, as well as having post-graduate education at the International Maritime and Transport Academy (IMTA) and a post-graduate thesis in Classification and Surveys in Turkish Maritime Industry and Turkish Maritime Classification Society (Turk Loydu).
