The world's first autonomous and zero-emission container ship recently completed its maiden voyage. The ship, which is used by the Norwegian fertilizer manufacturer Yara International for the purpose of transporting mineral fertilizers, is planned to start commercial voyages in 2022.
It has been announced that the world's first container ship, which is electric and has a self-propelled working mechanism, will cut 1,000 tons of carbon dioxide and reduce road transport by 40,000 truckloads.
