225 Million Investment in Nemrut Bay

PETKİM and Ege Gübre companies will make huge investments of 225 million.

Port expansion and modernization work will be carried out in Aliağa Nemrut Bay. While Ege Gübre expands its port capacity, PETKİM will carry out modernization works.

The pier of Ege Gübre, which was built in 2000, will be expanded and extensions will be made in the directions of piers 1 and 2 within the scope of the project. The maximization of the current capacity as the reason for the growth is stated in the project file. PETKİM aims to make raw material and product shipment more reliable by modernizing 2 of its 4 existing piers.
By raising both navigational safety and operational safety to the highest level, ships of 220 thousand DWT and above will be able to dock at PETKİM ports.
