The tariffs that will be valid in 2023 regarding the presence of foreign flagged commercial yachts in Turkish territorial waters, which will contribute to the tourism of the country with a length exceeding 39 meters, have been determined. Yacht tourism, which attracts the attention of world tourism, is becoming interesting for many domestic and foreign tourists in Turkey. For the foreign flagged yachts over 39 meters, issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the purpose of operating in Turkish territorial waters, the required documents must be prepared and the application must be submitted at least 15 days in advance.
Documents required from foreign flagged yachts exceeding 39 meters; The application must be started by preparing a petition showing the duration of the yacht, the insurance policy of the yacht, the certificate, the document related to the company representative to which the yacht belongs, and if a representative has been appointed in Turkey, the authorization and identity document of the representative.
If the relevant documents are deemed appropriate, permission will be granted with the "Consent of the Ministry". For the issuance of the permit, a permit will be issued on the condition that the entry fee and the contribution fee for the social and technical infrastructure are paid.
Contributions to be collected from foreign flagged commercial yachts for 2023 are as follows: For every 30 days; It is 525 thousand TL for those between 39 and 60 meters, 750 thousand TL for those between 60 and 80 meters, and 1.5 million TL for those over 80 meters. In addition, the amount of fees to be charged within the scope of the Fees Law; 607 thousand 261 TL will be charged for those between 39 and 60 meters, 910 thousand 891 TL for those between 60 and 80 meters, 1 million 214 thousand 522 TL for those over 80 meters.
