 "0" Emission Period at Sea

It has been announced that Asahi Tanker, the world's first electric tanker, will be launched until May. Asahi Tanker, built in Japan, will be in charge of refueling other ships at sea.

Asahi Tanker, which was announced to be produced at a cost of approximately 9.3 million dollars, is the world's first electric cargo ship. Asahi Tanker will be charged from a charging station built by Tokyo Electric Power in the "Kawasaki" main industrial area. The length of the ship is 62 meters and it will produce 3,480 kWh of power. It produces 100 times more power than today's electric vehicles. Thanks to its lithium-ion batteries, it will have a cruising speed of 19 kilometers per hour and a range of 100 kilometers.
