“Young people should know themselves well for university preferences”

“WE HAVE WORKS ON THE UNIVERSITY EXAM AND THE TRANSITION TO HIGH SCHOOL EXAMS”
Ilker Öztürk, Director of Youth and Sports of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, who said that they work for the youth, said, “We established preference counseling centers for our students right after the university exam results were announced. Our experts in the field informed the young people in these stands we have set up. Again, we have established a 153 preference information network for our youth through the Public Relations Directorate of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. At the moment, we are working on the university exam and the High School Entrance Examination in our head offices.”
 
İlker Öztürk continued his words as follows:
 
“What I always say is that our young friends know themselves well. Young people can make more realistic choices when they are aware of themselves. Again, I advise young people to work with a plan. As Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, we organize many events. Finally, we supported Formula races, which is an international event under pandemic conditions. Again, we did the Istanbul Half Marathon, I'm Running Istanbul stages under the conditions of the pandemic. We held all of these events under pandemic conditions. Even though it was difficult, we achieved this with our teammates.”
“OUR YOUTH SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ACTIVITIES”
Tekmil Sezen Göksu, Lecturer at Istanbul Gelişim University School of Physical Education and Sports, stated that the purpose of the interview was to inform the youth and said, “We hosted our Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Director, İlker Öztürk. The subject of our live broadcast was "The Future of Youth and Sports in Local Governments". As Istanbul Gelişim University, we aim to inform our youth. Our aim is to explain the services of local governments to our students at universities and to inform them about how they can benefit from these services. As a country, we have a young population. We also recommend our young people to participate in the activities of local governments.
