World Record Received in Wind Turbine

Wind and solar are prominent for renewable energy. Along with the increasing investments recently, there has been a great increase in productivity levels in both areas. If we talk about the wind, there have been many important steps and successes in a row. There is rapid progress in wind energy within the Nordic countries. Vestas, one of the Danish wind energy companies, is one of the pioneers in this field. The Vestas V236-15.0 MW prototype broke a new world record with the electrical energy it produced in 24 hours.
Competition in wind turbines is fierce between China and Europe. Vestas announced that it started producing electricity earlier in the year with the prototype it produced. Upon this announcement, it quickly announced 18 MW concepts in China. Last week, the Chinese company Three Gorges Energy commissioned the world's largest offshore wind turbine with a capacity of 16 MW.
Vestas produced 363 megawatt-hours of energy in 24 hours. And with this announcement, the literature has expanded.

This value is so great that it represents a turbine-based record for energy produced in a single day so far. The turbine started to be tested in December and reached full capacity in April. Each wing is 115.5 meters long. With a height of 280 meters, it is one of the largest in its own right. With this capacity, the energy needs of 20000 households will be met.
