University students' exhibition can be visited in virtual environment
Student exhibitions, which are opened to visitors every year in the corridors of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts, have been moved to the virtual environment this year. Lecturer, who is the director of the digital typographic poster exhibitions named “History of Writing” and “Experimental Alphabet”, organized by the projects of the students of Typography I, Typography III, Typography Applications and Experimental Typography courses. “ARTISTIC DESIGNS ARE AT THE FOREIGHT”
Stating that the mixed exhibition consisting of the projects of the Graphic Design Department students, the different habits that the pandemic brought to people's lives came to the fore. See. İrem Fulya Özkan said, “People enjoyed learning by researching during the pandemic process. Artistic designs that do not have a message concern came to the fore.
“THEY HAVE A NEW WORLD UNDERSTANDING”
Stating that the student projects exhibitions held every year produce works that gain innovation with the changing world this year, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IGU Abdülkadir Gayretli said, “Everyone needs development. There is a generation that reveals a new world and understanding of art. As a university, we always support them. We want to raise a generation that has proven itself in art and design in the world and has a say.”
