Thoughts Turned into Vision with a New Artificial Intelligence
Scientists keep asking different questions on different topics. How about artificial intelligence that can turn the thoughts that appear in the mind into an image of imagination? Of course, when you say it like that, it can sound crazy. However, scientists realized exactly this dream idea and succeeded. Studies were carried out and scientists were able to create accurate images with very high resolution of activity in the brain and parallel with the thoughts formed.
An international article was published in the last quarter of last year. It is noteworthy that this article focuses on a subject. With Stable Diffusion, also known as an artificial intelligence image creation tool that has become popular in recent days, they have created real images with very high resolution and a similar structure with thoughts, with activities in the brain (fMRI). The researchers in the study reported that, unlike previous research, no training was given to artificial intelligence, and no special settings were needed.
The researchers, who stated that the biological modeling of this study is a quantitative interpretation, also states that they conducted the first study that provided this situation. First, the researchers created a diagram between brain activity and noise levels. The more these activities, the greater the noise symptom. Of course, thanks to this high response as a result of these, much higher-resolution images can be obtained.
Scientists who created other diagrams have also minimized the noise created by these diagrams.
