Technical Trip from the Machinery Department to the Furniture Workshop

Samet Furniture, one of the pioneers of the sector in the field of furniture accessories, has made a technical trip by Istanbul Gelişim University Machinery Program.

A technical trip was organized on 14.12.2016 by Enes Kalyoncu and Machine Program students of 24 people. During the technical visit to Samet Furniture, Customer Relations Manager Yeliz Kızıltan Ersöz made a presentation about the company's historical development, general activities, internship and part-time and full-time employment processes. After the presentation, after a small refreshment, R&D Machinery Design and Construction Manager Beytullah Kiran visited the R&D Department, Heat Treatment, Press Shop, Quality Laboratory, and informed about the career development process, and our students were informed about the working areas that are expected to be popular in the sector in the near future. The question and answer session was started by giving information about the career development process from the internship process to the Team Leader position. Our students asked questions about business life, internship process, recruitment processes, career planning in the question and answer section.
The studies carried out during this visit shared information about the transformation from idea to product with the latest technology used in the sector, and answered our students' questions about technical issues.
Also, at the end of the semester, one of our students was accepted as an intern and successfully completed his internship.
