National Laser Signed by Tübitak
The Gendarmerie Vehicle Mounted Spindle Laser System (JARMOL), designed and produced by TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center (BİLGEM) engineers, was introduced and information was given about its features.
In the program organized in the laboratories of BİLGEM, the vehicle was first introduced. TÜBİTAK BİLGEM President Ali GÖRÇİN made statements on the subject.
Indicating that they have a strong cooperation with ASELSAN, GÖRÇİN stated that a 5 kilowatt laser system has been tested for the project.
It is thought that the 5 kilowatt laser system integrated into a mobile vehicle of the gendarmerie will be highly functional. In addition, studies are carried out to ensure the integration of this laser system with the İHTAR system.
In this process, the increase in near-autonomous air elements and the importance of developing deterrent technologies for remote-controlled systems come to the fore in this project. Our country has come a long way in laser technology with its early steps.
With the feedback from the field, it will be seen that the system will be optimized and in what situations it will be used as a deterrent.
