Istanbul Gelisim University 2018-2019 graduation ceremony

The graduation ceremony held at the Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performance Center started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. The opening speech of the ceremony was delivered by Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli. Later, the young people who took the stage in sections received their diplomas.
 
Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç said, “Graduation days are the happiest days for students, their parents and universities. We are proud and happy. We have an important place in higher education. We train our students well and we believe that they will be very successful. Although our university is a young university, it is a university with 54 departments accredited and has an education quality in line with international standards. The path of our students is clear, they have a lot of luck," he said.
 
Stating that they accomplished great things in a short time in the name of internationalization in the 2018-2019 academic year, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli said, “We attach great importance to quality in line with the principle of sustainability. Our goal is to raise a generation that produces. In this way, we support our students in many areas. We are in pursuit of providing added value to our country with our projects such as Flying Car, Electric Car and Eczamatics. We are in pursuit of innovations that do not exist in the world.”
