Istanbul Gelisim University is among the top 300 universities in the "QS EECA 2021" ranking. Ranking 58th in the “International Academician” category, the university was among the top 100 universities in the “Cited Per Article” category.
 
IGU is in the top 300 in the world in the "QS EECA 2021" ranking
Istanbul Gelisim University, which is among the top 300 universities in the world in the evaluations made according to criteria such as International Academicians, International Students, Doctorate Faculty Staff, Per Article Citation and Web Effect, continues its rise among Turkish Foundation Universities with the success it has achieved.
 
London-based higher education rating agency QS University Rankings has published the “World University Rankings 2021” reports. In the list where world universities are evaluated, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) is among the top 300 universities in the 'Emerging Europe and Central Asia Ranking' (EECA).
“OUR MOTIVATION SOURCE”
Making evaluations on the subject, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelişim University Abdülkadir Gayretli said, “This success we have achieved on the way we set out with the aim of being among the best universities in the world is of course proud for us. We are evaluated by many international organizations. Most recently, we announced that we were the 1st in the "Quality Education" category in Turkey and the 96th in the world. The good results of our moves in the name of internationalization are a source of motivation for us.”

In the field of internationalization of the Turkish higher education system, Prof. Dr. Stating that he has made great progress under the leadership of Yekta Saraç, Gayretli said, “We have made our higher education system an international center of attraction. With the strategies developed, more and more international students and academicians prefer Turkey in higher education every year.”

Emphasizing that they are ranked 58th in the evaluations made according to the "International Academician" criteria, Gayretli said, "International academicians constitute one of the important pillars of internationalization.
