IGU established technology class in village schools
With the vision of supporting Quality Education, one of the 17 Global Goals determined by the United Nations (UN), Istanbul Gelişim University continues to produce projects that will ensure quality education in regions where access to opportunities is limited.
With the perspective of "Ecological, Economic and Social Sustainability", Çakıllı İlk and Çakıllı Under the direction of the Provincial Directorate of National Education, within the scope of the project, which set out to support equal opportunities in education for students studying in village schools with limited opportunities and to leave a sustainable environment for future generations. He established a technology class in his Secondary School and Skopje Secondary School.

“COMPUTERS RENOVATED”
Within the scope of the project, 30 computers were renewed and reused by Istanbul Gelişim University. 15 tablets were donated by the companies with which Istanbul Gelişim University cooperated.
Speaking about the project, IGU Community Service Coordinator Dr. Instructor Member Aslıhan Güzin Selçuk said, “This project is of particular importance in terms of supporting the education of our children who have limited access to online education, which came to the fore during the Covid-19 epidemic. Another important thing is that besides the support given to education, it is an exemplary project in reaching the ideal of sustainable environment with the transformation of computers within the scope of digital waste.
