Flying car Tusi at MUSIAD with its strengthened structure and new design
MUSIAD EXPO 2020 Trade Fair, one of Turkey's most important technology events, opened its doors to its visitors at TUYAP Istanbul Expo Center. At the fair where many technologies were introduced, the flying car Tusi met with intense interest from the visitors with its strengthened structure and new design.

MUSIAD EXPO 2020 Trade Fair opened its doors to its visitors at TÜYAP Istanbul Expo Center. One of the most popular technologies of the fair, which was held with the participation of more than 40 thousand company representatives, was the flying car Tusi. Developed by the engineers and students of Istanbul Gelişim University Technology Transfer Office, Tusi was showcased for the first time at this fair in its final form after it was revised and successfully carried out test drives. While it can carry a person of 80 kilograms, the flying car Tusi, which is also suitable for an individual of 110 kilograms, was developed as a more powerful vehicle by making it smaller while working with 6 rotors and arms. Welcoming the visitors with its new structure, Tusi has been made both smaller and more powerful with 4 rotors and 8 engines.
Furkan Yılmaz, a research engineer working at Istanbul Gelişim University Technology Transfer Office, stated that they exhibited the Tusi in a completely revised form and said, “We are introducing our flying car to people for the second time. It promises good things for the future. We started the test drives of the vehicle. It's going great right now. We ventilated it and we are constantly struggling for its balance, making structural changes. I believe that we will see both this vehicle and the new two- and four-seater prototypes to be made soon on the roads in a month or two. In the past, it was very difficult to reach personalized planes. But this prototype is a vehicle that anyone can own like a car. It will both be a solution to traffic and provide transportation in a short time and at affordable costs.
