Educational scholarship for national athletes from Istanbul Gelişim University
The CIRIEC Social Economy Days Student Webinar was held at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), where the International Public, Social and Cooperative Economy Research and Information Center (CIRIEC), an international scientific organization established in Belgium in 1947, formed the Turkey committee. There was intense student participation in the webinar.
According to the historical agreement signed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports with 52 foundation universities, elite athletes who have achieved success at the international level can receive full scholarship education at foundation universities within the framework of the "One Hundred Percent Athlete Scholarship Agreement". Istanbul Gelisim University also announced that it provides 100% training scholarships to national athletes.
Training scholarship to 22 national athletes from Istanbul Gelişim University
In accordance with the agreement signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and 52 foundation universities, national athletes who have been certified to have been successful in the following sports fields in the last four years are offered a 100% tuition fee discount by the relevant foundation university if they are placed in the mentioned foundation universities according to the YKS result.
ONE PERCENT SCHOLARSHIP TO NATIONAL ATHLETES
In the statement made by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), it was announced that many national athletes who applied for the Physical Education and Sports School Special Talent Exams were provided with 100% educational scholarships.
Stating that they signed a "One Hundred Percent Athlete Scholarship Agreement" with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support Turkish sports, IGU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli said, “National athletes are the most important representatives of our country. As a university, we support our athletes in all conditions, especially in their education and sports activities.”

Giving information about sports branches, Gayretli said that 100% training scholarships are provided to national athletes and said, “We have national athletes in football, swimming, taekwondo, badminton, tennis, karate, fencing, athletics and wrestling branches. I wish them all success in their education and sports life.”
