A technical trip was organized to Osman Liman Machinery Company

Organized technical trip Machinery and Metal Technologies Department Machine Program Inst. See. İsmail Altın, Company Automation Manager Serdar Şenel and R&D Manager Ferhat Tekin.
 
Machinery program students had the chance to see how the knowledge they learned in the theoretical courses was applied in the industry within the scope of the technical trip. Thus, by integrating theoretical knowledge with practice, they had the opportunity to develop themselves in line with their career goals and to see professional practices on site. By visiting the company, students were given important information about Aluminum, Wood and PVC machine design and production stages by Automation Manager Serdar Şenel and R&D Manager Ferhat Tekin, who are experienced and experts in their fields.
 
The design stages and the drawing program made by the R&D department were explained in detail. Then, the students saw how MIG/MAG welding is done in the chassis manufacturing department of the company. The welder of the company gave information to the students about how the welding errors can be minimized during the welded production phase and how the stresses can be eliminated in the chassis manufacturing. They saw in practice how the workpiece to be produced in the CNC machine department is connected to the CNC machine tool and how the cutting tools are called. Then, in the assembly department, it was shown how PLC automation was integrated into the machines whose production was completed.
 
In all departments of the company, the importance of occupational health and safety awareness and sensitivity was first conveyed to the students. Thanks to the technical trip, the students saw the daily working discipline and approach of a company that has been operating in the production sector for years, and got brief information about what kind of business life they may encounter in the future.
