The World Bank stated that long-term inflation, new Covid-19 variants and ongoing supply chain problems will negatively affect growth all over the world, and lowered its global growth forecast to 4.1 percent for this year and to 3.2 percent for 2023. For Turkey, the growth forecast for 2022 was reduced from 3 percent to 2 percent, and for 2023 from 4 percent to 3 percent.
