Thanks to the leadership of the Turkish Cargo, Courier, and Logistics Operators Association, known as KARID, and the support provided by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK), II. Cargo, Courier, Logistics Summit, and Fair (Post & Parcel II. Summit & I. Expo - PPSE) was held at Pullman Istanbul Congress Center. The most important logistics companies of the sector participated in the fair, where current technologies, products, and equipment in the logistics sector were exhibited.
The opening ceremony of the fair, which will continue for two days, was attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Information Technologies and Communications Authority President Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu, Turkish Cargo, Courier, and Logistics Operators Association (KARİD) President Fatih Önyol and Berrmak Sales and Marketing Manager Onuralp Çelik attended. Underlining Turkey's strengthening position in global markets at the opening meeting, KARID President Fatih Önyol made the following statements:’’ “Turkey has turned into a cargo hub for the Middle East and Near Asia. We think that this position will increase over time. PPSE is a Fair and Summit that presents the technologies we use today and will use in the future. In the past, we used to go abroad to follow such organizations. Thanks to PPSE, we reveal the global competitive vision of the logistics industry. Today, Turkey has reached a level that can export autonomous systems and conveyor systems to Europe. We are proud to have brought such an organization to our country’’.
