According to the temporary foreign trade data produced within the scope of the general trade system established by the cooperation of the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Ministry of Trade, the foreign trade deficit amounted to $6.11 billion with an annual increase of 98.5 percent. While the export-import coverage ratio was 85.9% in April 2021, it decreased to 79.3% in April 2022.
