Ildızhan Türe said, “The total transportation between China and Turkey by rail reached 100 thousand tons with 95 trains and wagons in 2001. In Turkey, if the railway investments made and the logistics centers established are operated correctly, in addition to our Black Sea ports, new transport volumes will be created in the railway market by establishing North-South connections between the newly established Fiyos port and our ports in the Eastern Mediterranean.”
