THERE ARE CURRENT ABOUT 2 MILLION PENDING CASES AT CRIMINAL COURTS
 
According to the number of pending files published by the Ministry of Justice every day, an average of 15,000 files a day come to the criminal courts. The number of pending files is about 2 million.

While the number of new files per day in criminal courts across Turkey exceeds 15 thousand, the number of pending criminal court cases (still ongoing) is over 1 million 700 thousand, according to ministry figures. Cases are shared between criminal courts on the basis of division of labor and division of labor according to the rules of duty and authority in the Code of Criminal Procedure.
