Significant Changes have been Made on Execution Regulation

The Presidential Regulation amending the Execution Regulation within the scope of the Judicial Reform and Human Rights Action Plan studies has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the regulation, the right of convicts to make calls, the right to receive gifts, the scope of compassionate leaves and the scope of the postponement of prison sentences have been expanded. The opportunity of postponing the sentences of women who are pregnant or have just given birth and avoiding the transportation costs for convicts whose financial situation is insufficient have also been introduced.
